RaceLayer Terms of Service

Overview

RaceLayer includes a browser extension, an iOS and iPadOS app, and a product website. These products display live race timing and related data alongside compatible video streams. By using any RaceLayer product, you agree to these terms.

Use of RaceLayer

You may use RaceLayer for personal, lawful viewing and race-data enhancement. You are responsible for complying with the terms of the websites, video services, browsers, and data sources you use with RaceLayer.

Accounts and Sign-In

Some browser-extension features require Google or Apple sign-in so RaceLayer can identify your web account and sync browser-extension entitlement between the website and extension. The iOS app uses an app-specific identifier for purchase entitlement and does not use the website account to share Pro access. You are responsible for keeping your platform accounts and devices secure.

Subscriptions

Browser Extension Pro and iOS App Pro are separate products with separate purchases and entitlements. Purchasing Browser Extension Pro does not unlock iOS App Pro, and purchasing iOS App Pro does not unlock Browser Extension Pro.

Browser Extension Pro checkout and subscription status are handled by the payment provider shown during web checkout. iOS App Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and may be managed through the user’s Apple account. Pro features remain available while the applicable subscription or lifetime entitlement is active and can be verified for that product.

Chrome and Edge Extension Availability

RaceLayer is distributed as a browser extension through the Chrome Web Store. The public product listing is available at RaceLayer Live Timing Overlay.

iOS App Availability

RaceLayer for iPhone and iPad is distributed through the Apple App Store. The public product listing is available at RaceLayer on the App Store. Use of the iOS app and App Store purchases is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms, including the Apple Standard EULA where applicable.

Unofficial Product

RaceLayer is an unofficial Formula 1 data enhancement tool. RaceLayer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Formula 1, FIA, Formula One Management, race promoters, teams, drivers, broadcasters, or streaming providers.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse RaceLayer, including by:

• Trying to disrupt, reverse engineer, or compromise RaceLayer services.
• Using RaceLayer for unlawful activity or rights infringement.
• Sharing subscription access in a way that avoids account or entitlement controls.
• Using automated requests or scraping against RaceLayer services beyond normal product use.

Changes and Availability

RaceLayer features, data availability, browser and device support, subscription terms, and pricing may change over time. RaceLayer may suspend or discontinue parts of the service when required for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or product changes.

RaceLayer is provided as is and as available. RaceLayer does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, timing accuracy, compatibility with every website, or availability of third-party data sources.
